Colorado Day One

When we left for Colorado we were a little nervous about how Oliver would do on the 11-plus hour drive. But he actually did great -- we read books, colored, slept a little, and played with cars and "guys." At hour 7 we finally pulled out the laptop and movies and only had to give him one sucker to help pass the time. But when we finally got here it was all worth it. We've been here two days and have already packed in lots of activities: lift rides, hiking up and down the mountain, mini-golf, go-carts, zip-line, gondola rides, and more.

Oliver loves riding the lift.

Who knew there was a beach in Colorado? Playing in the sand here is one of Oliver's favorite things.

Oliver was too little to ride the go-carts with everyone, but they let Oliver and me take a couple of spins around the track all alone.

And of course, late-night poker games
