‘We Castrate and Bid the Geldings Be Fruitful’

You may have seen the recent news reports about the “Lotto Tree” on display on the first floor of the state capitol building. (Here’s a photo I snapped December 2.) The tree was decorated by some children (presumably with adult supervision) from a public elementary school in Oklahoma City.

I for one remain baffled that these children – after spending five days a week, nine months a year in a school system that denies Christ – for some reason don't have a better grasp of the true meaning of Christmas.
