In a telephone survey conducted last month, Cole Hargrave Snodgrass & Associates, a respected polling firm, asked 500 registered Oklahoma voters: "In politics today, do you consider yourself to be liberal or conservative?"
Only 18 percent of Oklahomans described themselves as somewhat or strongly liberal. A full 67 percent called themselves somewhat or strongly conservative.
