Here's a Photo You Don't See Every Day

Pictured from left are U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, Citizens Against Government Waste president Tom Schatz, yours truly, and Porky at a press conference unveiling the 2006 Oklahoma Piglet Book. Media turnout was good (KOCO, KOKH-FOX 25, KTOK, The Oklahoman, the Journal Record, and the Associated Press), and from the tone of the questions I don't expect the news stories to be hostile, which in itself is no small victory. (Liberal media bias is a subject for another blog entry altogether.) I'll be on Tulsa's FOX news station, KFAQ AM-1170, tomorrow morning at 7:10 to discuss the Piglet Book.

After the press conference my OCPA colleagues and I, including Porky, went and ate (what else?) barbeque.
