A Whole New Ball Game
For the past nine years our family has spent many spring and summer days and evenings at the ballpark. From April to June we spend one, sometimes two evenings a week sitting in our lawn chairs watching Lincoln play baseball. We see friends and visit with people we haven't seen since the previous spring. The girls see their friends and visit the concession stand to get gum and nachos. We've sat through ball games in freezing cold weather huddled under blankets and in sweltering Oklahoma heat under umbrellas to block the sun.
Well, baseball season is about to roll around again and this year we'll be watching not only Lincoln but Jack Henry (!) as well. He'll be playing T-ball for the first time and his dad will be coaching his team. Unsurprisingly, this evening Lincoln dressed his little brother in his old Cardinals uniform and took him outside to give him some pointers.
