Another Unwitting Homeschool Booster

State Rep. Wallace Collins (D-Norman) seems to be doing his best to persuade people to teach their children at home. Earlier this year, Rep. Collins was heard saying "I'm only a public school graduate so I'm not very literate." Then today Rep. Collins observed, "It seems there is no end to the violence in our schools today. Whether it is bullying or a school shooting, we need to put an end to this unacceptable behavior. We send our children to school to learn, but they cannot do that if they are in constant fear of acts of violence and intimidation. Schools should be a safe haven with an atmosphere conducive to learning, not a gathering place of potential victims."
