Cross-Border Rocket Attacks, Blah Blah Blah
With all the current reports of the Israel-Hamas conflict, I'm reminded of a news story (warning: profanity in the story's next-to-last graf) published last year by The Onion under the headline "Middle East Conflict Intensifies As Blah Blah Blah, Etc. Etc."
The U.N. has issued a strongly worded whatever denouncing someone or something presumably having to do with the vicious explosive things that raged across this, or shattered the predawn calm of that, or ripped suddenly through the other, killing umpteen innocent civilians in a Jerusalem bus or Beirut discotheque or Fallujah mosque or whatever it was this time.Meanwhile, Douglas Wilson reminds us "that there will be no peace to speak of in the Middle East until Jesus Christ is acknowledged as king there by all hands. The Muslims need Jesus and the Jews need Jesus. That's my Middle East peace plan."
