Weekday Pictures

Last year we finished up our four-year history rotation and are starting over again this year with ancient history. We're at the end of our Egyptian study and Jack Henry has been busy doing some projects. The last time we studied the ancients we mummified a chicken, but I didn't have the energy to do it this time around. It's a really neat project if you're up for it! This year we opted for a salt map of Egypt and some hieroglyphics.

Here is Oliver after finding out he has to stay home while Brandon, Lincoln, and the girls make the trip to Dallas for the OU-Texas game.

He got over it pretty quick, and his sisters are thrilled to be going to their first OU-Texas game!

The younger boys and I are home this weekend. I'm not sure what all we'll be doing, but Jack Henry tells me that a Saturday morning trip to the donut shop is on the agenda.
