On the right, state Rep. T.W. Shannon, Speaker-designate of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, was quoted as saying "there's no reason we can't begin to eliminate some of the income tax credits that we give and apply that toward the state income tax so the people can keep more of their money."
Meanwhile, on the left, state Sen. Al McAffrey said he is "not unilaterally opposed to tax cuts" as long as they're done "in a reasonable, fiscally responsible manner"
