Contrasting Views on Sequestration

Last fall Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin warned darkly of "the devastating impact of sequestration." Webster defines devastating as "causing or tending to cause destruction."

The Heritage Foundation, on the other hand, says sequestration has helped force badly needed spending cuts and has encouraged private-sector job growth. The Wall Street Journal's Stephen Moore agrees that sequestration has been a success.
