Buffett Has Given a Stunning $1.2 Billion to Abortion Groups
Liberal billionaire Warren Buffett, whose media group owns the Tulsa World, "donated more than $1.2 billion to abortion organizations from 2001 to 2012," Dan Gainor reports today. "That's equal to the cost of roughly 2.7 million first-trimester abortions – more than twice the number of abortions that occur in an entire year in the United States."
Once recipient of Buffett's giving is Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion business. (I say "abortion," but at least one Planned Parenthood official believes it's OK to kill an infant who is already born and is struggling for life.) Unsurprisingly – what with pregnant youngsters being good for business – the organization has failed to report statutory rape and sexual abuse, and also has aided and abetted the sex trafficking of minors. Anthony Esolen rightly criticizes the Planned Predators as "pedophiles of the soul." Their message to children is simple: have sex and buy our abortions (after all, we've got quotas to meet!).
I'm not sure if Mr. Buffett's philanthropy involves targeted giving, but if so he can make a donation to the Planned Parenthood office in Tulsa and target his gift toward the killing of a black baby. Lovely.
As it happens, Buffett isn't the only billionaire Planned Parenthood donor with Tulsa ties who's making headlines. The Wall Street Journal reports today on a Tulsa businessman (and devoted liberal) who's pushing for tax hikes on Oklahoma's oil and gas industry. Here's a new ad from some oil and gas producers:
