November 11

I won't ever forget this day. The day He gave us a miracle.

I took Oliver out this Sunday to take some pictures. He asked if he could take "Mammie's Lamby".

I'm thankful that Oliver remembers her too, even if he hasn't met her yet.

  1. I remember this day of miracles as if it were yesterday. In addition to the one in Dallas in 2009 there was also a miracle of another sort that occurred in Tuxedo, Oklahoma on November 11, 1913. Tuxedo was a tiny settlement east of Bartlesville in those days. Anne Marie's great grandmother was born to a mother just 15 days out of her teens in a tiny, cold, one room house. There was a four year old brother hoping his new sister would live longer than their brother who died on October 28, 2012 - age 44 days. The baby girl was named Alberta Doris Miller and lived to be one of the best moms ever. Just like her granddaughter Susie.
