Casillas Raps OU for Double Standard
As if the whole Nazi thing wasn't bad enough public relations, let us now discuss OU's policy regarding students who cold-cock women. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed the seemingly arbitrary, Roger Goodell-like system of justice at my alma mater in Norman.
You'll recall that when two OU students, members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, recently engaged in some appalling and sinful but constitutionally protected speech, the president of the university expelled them for behavior which was "threatening" and which "created a hostile educational environment for others." So a drunken rant is considered "threatening" and "hostile" enough to merit expulsion, but knocking a fellow student unconscious and breaking four bones in her face is not.
