Oklahomans Say Chancellor Is Overpaid
Oklahoma’s higher education system has long been a jobs program for ex-politicians needing a cushy place to land. Exhibit A is Oklahoma’s chancellor of higher education, a former state lawmaker, who is paid more than $411,000 a year. SoonerPoll recently asked likely voters if they think this amount is too high, too low, or just about right. Fully 80 percent say it is too high.
