Snow Day

This morning we left the house early for our weekly Tuesday activities. Jack Henry, Oliver, and I dropped the girls off at their stop and then we went to get our usual bagel and coffee before Jack Henry's P.E. class. When we pulled out of the driveway it was raining, and 45 minutes later, when we were halfway through our bagel, the rain had turned into giant snowflakes. Oliver had seen snow before, but this is the first time he was really interested in it and it didn't take him long to start saying, "Snow! Snow!"

After P.E. we came home and Oliver enjoyed watching the snow fall. It was the perfect snow day -- the kind where all of our evening activities were cancelled so we could stay home, but the roads were just wet and not icy.
