Adventures at Walmart

Susie and Oliver were shopping at Walmart yesterday, and of course with Christmas approaching the store was more crowded, hectic, and unpleasant than usual. When they got to the self-checkout line, Oliver contributed to the frustration when he grabbed Susie's credit card and promptly deposited it into the coupon box (mimicking what he does with his credit card at his little cash register at home). The box was locked, so they had to get a manager to come get the credit card out of the box.

When they got back to the car, Oliver must have sensed Susie's weariness and frustration. From his car seat he said: "Are you happy with me, mom? Because I'm happy with you."
