How Sweet the Sound
I took my 11-year-old daughter, Lillie, to see Amazing Grace tonight. I agree with my friend Pat McGuigan that the film succeeds on every level. I highly recommend it.
After the movie I asked Lillie, "Remember that part in the movie when Wilberforce's butler asked him, 'You found God, sir?'"
She remembered and, good little Calvinist that she is, she remembered Wilberforce's reply: “I think He found me.”
